Lustleigh
The picturesque village of Lustleigh is approximately 1 and a half miles away. Shop at The Dairy for your everyday items. Visit Primrose Tea Rooms for a wonderful cream team or walk around Wreyland, a very picturesque area of Lustleigh with beautiful thatched cottages. Visit The Cleave, a family friendly pub, thatched and dating back to the 15th Century for a wonderful pub meal. Be sure of a friendly welcome from Landlord Ben Whitton.
Bovey Tracey
Nestling on the South East edge of Dartmoor National Park Bovey Tracey has proved a magnet for visitors from all over the world, throughout the year. Great places to visit include the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, the Bovey Tracey Heritage Centre, The House of Marbles, and close by enjoy wonderful riverside and woodland walks in Parke.

Superb beaches around Torbay are approximately forty minutes drive.
Dartmoor National Park
Dartmoor National Park is 368 square miles of wide open spaces with dramatic Tors, wooded valleys, rushing rivers and varied wildlife which offers an amazing opportunity for holiday makers to experience a constantly changing backdrop to this wonderful environment. Dartmoor has miles of paths, tracks and open moorland for you to explore, on horse, foot or bike. You can also have a go at new activities such as rock climbing, canoeing and fishing. Or make time to get to the heart of Dartmoor and find a real sense of community in the interesting moorland towns of Bovey Tracey, Moretonhampstead, Chagford, and Ashburton.
Castle Drogo
Now owned by the National Trust, Castle Drogo at Chagford is the last castle to be built in England and stands high above the Teign Gorge in Dartmoor. Built by Lutyens for Julius Drewe, Castle Drogo's imposing exterior conceals a surprisingly comfortable and intimate1930s home and is well worth a visit.
