From the southern end of the M5 join the Devon Expressway signposted A38 to Plymouth.

Leave the A38 about 12 miles south west of Exeter on the A382 Bovey Tracey to Moretonhamstead road.

By-pass Bovey Tracey towards Moretonhamstead and after 3 miles turn left at the signpost to Lustleigh village and drive towards the village.

With the church on your right and The Cleave pub on your left, follow the road past Primrose Cottage Tea Rooms to the end, (opposite The Dairy). Turn left and follow the road to the top of the hill. At the top of the hill turn right towards Cleave and follow this road for approximately 3 miles, passing Cleave Cottage, Nutcracker Cottage, Cothland Barn and Harton Chase. Follow the road up the hill and turn left into the road at a sign for South Harton Farm (between a white gate). Lower Harton Farm is the first house on the left, The Barn is the second property on the left.
